AGS Recap

Last weekend I displayed five guitars at the Artisan Guitar Show in Harrisburg, PA. The Tonewood Brewing D-42 made its debut as well as two other freshly built instruments, a 17” Concert model archtop and a relic’d LZ-0013.

I set out to build a guitar that had the looks, sound, and feel of an old Gibson L-00 and I am proud to say I achieved all three goals. It received incredible praise by attendees and other makers at the show which I humbly accept. It truly is a magical guitar.

The D-42 got lots of praise for its beauty and for the beautiful fingerboard and headstock inlay work by Auson Inlay. I also got to meet face to face for the first time the girls at Aulson who were happy to see the guitar assembled for the first time.

It was a treat hearing my 17” archtop being played at the Bill Comins booth by phenomenal players all weekend long.

A three-page article featuring Tonewood Brewing and the D-42 was included in the AGS magazine that was free to all attendees
